About
The Echo Dot Max is a significant hardware step up from previous Dots, pairing markedly better sound with a full smart home radio stack. It ships with Zigbee, Thread and Matter support built in, so it can act as the hub for an entire home rather than just a voice endpoint. For Alexa households it removes the need for a separate Echo Hub or Zigbee bridge.
