About
The G1 is a pair of prescription-capable glasses with a monochrome heads-up display and, deliberately, no camera and no speakers. It shows notifications, teleprompter text, turn-by-turn directions and live translation captions in your field of view, and lasts more than a day per charge because it is not driving video. If Ray-Ban Meta is a wearable camera, the G1 is a wearable display: quiet, light and socially invisible.
Pros
- +Looks like normal glasses
- +Multi-day battery
- +No camera
Cons
- −Text only
- −Expensive for the feature set
