The Ulticam IQ V2 is among the earliest security cameras to implement the Matter 1.5 specification, which added native camera support to the standard. It records at 4K with a 160-degree field of view and on-device AI detection, and because it speaks Matter natively it can stream to any compliant controller without a vendor-specific bridge. This matters because camera fragmentation has been the last major gap in Matter coverage.
