The short answer
A robot vacuum and mop combo vacuums and mops in one run, then goes back to a dock that empties its bin and washes its mop. The real differences between models are the mop design (spinning pads, a roller or a track), how the robot keeps rugs dry, how hot the dock washes the mop, and how low and how high the robot can go.
- Best overall: Roborock Saros 20. $1,599.99. 36,000 Pa suction, a 3.14 inch body, mops that detach on carpet, and a dock that washes the mops with water up to 212°F.
- Best roller mop: Dreame Aqua10 Ultra Roller. $899.99 (regular price $1,599.99). A roller mop rinsed with fresh water as it cleans, 30,000 Pa suction and a 3-year warranty listed on Dreame's store.
- Best budget pick: Ecovacs Deebot N30 Pro Omni. $315 (regular price $699.99). Self-emptying, hot-water mop washing (60°C) and automatic mop lifting for less than half the price of any other pick here.
- Best mid-range spinning mop: Roborock Qrevo 2 Pro. $799.99. 20,000 Pa, dual spinning mops that remove themselves for carpets, and an extending mop for edges.
- Most suction: Ecovacs Deebot T90S Pro Omni. $899.99. Up to 40,000 Pa and a roller mop washed at 75°C in the dock.
- Best track mop for mostly hard floors: Narwal Flow 2. From $1,099.99. A self-cleaning track mop and 31,000 Pa suction.
- Best for cluttered floors: Roborock Saros Z70. $999.99 (listed at $2,599.99). A folding robotic arm moves socks, small towels and tissues before it cleans.
- Best for Roomba households: iRobot Roomba Max 775 Combo + AutoWash Dock. $799.99 (regular price $999.99). A roller mop with a cover that drops over it on carpet.
All prices come from each maker's own US store as of October 2026. Several were sale prices on the day we checked, so confirm at checkout.

"Not listed" means the maker's US product page did not state it on the day we checked, not that the feature is missing. Narwal's page gives several water temperatures for the Flow 2 (140°F for its mopping system, 212°F for mop washing, and a 113 to 176°F adaptive range in the spec list), so we do not put one number in the table.
Roborock Saros 20: best overall
Who it's for: Homes with a mix of hard floors and rugs, low furniture and raised door sills, where you want the dock to handle nearly all the upkeep.
Key facts
- $1,599.99 on us.roborock.com as of October 2026.
- 36,000 Pa suction, a 3.14 inch body that Roborock says reaches under furniture as low as 3.13 inches, and dual rotating mop pads with up to 13 N of downward pressure.
- The AdaptiLift Chassis 3.0 crosses single sills up to 1.77 inches and double thresholds up to 3.46 inches (1.77 plus 1.69 inches), according to Roborock's own figures.
- On carpet the mops detach and the chassis lifts, and Roborock says it adjusts body height to clean rugs with pile up to 1.18 inches.
- The dock washes the mops with water up to 212°F, dries them with 131°F warm air, empties the bin, dispenses detergent and dries the dust bag.
- Roborock says it recognizes more than 300 obstacle types, has a built-in "Hello Rocky" voice assistant and works with Matter (Siri Shortcuts, Alexa and Google Home).
Trade-offs: It is the most expensive pick here, and Roborock's store lists a 1-year limited warranty. If you prefer a vibrating mop, Roborock also sells a Saros 20 Sonic with the same 36,000 Pa suction, 212°F mop washing and dust-bag drying. More detail is on our Roborock Saros 20 page.
Dreame Aqua10 Ultra Roller: best roller mop
Who it's for: Kitchens, entryways and pet homes with sticky messes, where a roller that is constantly rinsed with clean water makes more sense than pads that are only washed at the dock.
Key facts
- $899.99 on dreametech.com as of October 2026, down from a regular price of $1,599.99. Dreame's store lists a 3-year warranty.
- Dreame says the roller is rinsed with fresh water while it mops, a scraping system squeezes out dirty water, and its spec list includes mop extending for edges.
- On carpet, the AutoSeal guard closes and the roller lifts 0.55 inches. Brushes also lift while mopping so they stay dry.
- Up to 30,000 Pa suction and a dual brush system (one for hard floors, one for carpet).
- ProLeap legs climb obstacles up to 3.15 inches, and Dreame lists 1.65 inch single thresholds and carpets up to 1.18 inches.
- The dock washes the roller at 212°F, dries it with 158°F hot air, dries the dust bag at 122°F and auto-empties into a 3.2 L bag that Dreame says lasts up to 100 days.
Trade-offs: At 3.86 inches it is taller than the Saros 20 and Saros Z70, so check the gap under your sofa. The $899.99 figure is a sale price.
Ecovacs Deebot N30 Pro Omni: best budget pick
Who it's for: Smaller homes and tighter budgets where you still want the dock to empty the bin and wash the mop.
Key facts
- $315.00 on ecovacs.com/us as of October 2026, a sale price against a regular $699.99 (Ecovacs's store lists the promotion as running October 8 to 19). The same page lists the N30 Omni at $669.99.
- 10,000 Pa suction with ZeroTangle 2.0 brushes and automatic mop lifting on carpet.
- The Omni station washes the mop with 60°C (140°F) water, dries it with 40°C (104°F) air and auto-empties into a 2.6 L dust bag.
- TruEdge edge mopping uses a hovering mechanical arm, and Ecovacs gives a minimum edge distance of 1 mm.
- The robot measures 104 mm (about 4.1 inches) tall, according to Ecovacs's spec list.
- Ecovacs lists runtime of up to 320 minutes (quiet mode, vacuum only) and obstacle crossing up to 20 mm.
Trade-offs: Suction is far lower than the flagships here, and its 20 mm (0.79 inch) obstacle limit is the lowest listed on this page. At 4.1 inches it is also one of the taller robots here, and $315 is a limited-time sale price.
Roborock Qrevo 2 Pro: best mid-range spinning mop
Who it's for: People who want Roborock's app and a self-washing dock without paying flagship prices.
Key facts
- $799.99 on us.roborock.com as of October 2026 (white or black).
- 20,000 Pa suction and a dual zero-tangle brush system.
- Dual spinning mops that detach automatically for high-pile carpets, and a FlexiArm mop that extends around walls, corners and furniture legs.
- LiDAR navigation with structured-light obstacle sensors.
- The dock washes the mop after each cleaning cycle and uses a self-sealing dust bag.
- The robot is 3.80 inches tall.
Trade-offs: Roborock's page does not list a mop-washing temperature, hot-air drying or a threshold height, and the robot is taller than the Saros models. See our Roborock Qrevo 2 Pro page for more.
Ecovacs Deebot T90S Pro Omni: most suction
Who it's for: Homes with lots of carpet and pet hair that also want a roller mop.
Key facts
- $899.99 on ecovacs.com/us as of October 2026.
- Up to 40,000 Pa suction and 33.9 CFM airflow, the highest suction figure on this page.
- OZMO Roller 3.0: a 27 cm roller rinsed by a 32-way pressurized fresh-water flow, with a scraper that removes dirty water as it cleans. Ecovacs lists 4,000 Pa of downward pressure and 220 RPM.
- On carpet the roller lifts 0.59 inches and a cover drops between it and the carpet.
- The Omni station washes the roller with water up to 75°C (167°F), dries it with hot air, empties the bin and dispenses cleaning solution.
- Ecovacs says PowerBoost charging restores 10% battery in 3 minutes during mop washing, and AGENT YIKO accepts spoken commands such as "Please clean the kitchen."
Trade-offs: Ecovacs lists threshold crossing up to 0.98 inches, much lower than the Saros 20, Aqua10 Ultra Roller or Flow 2. The product page we checked did not list the robot's height.
Narwal Flow 2: best track mop for mostly hard floors
Who it's for: Homes that are mostly tile, wood or vinyl, where mopping quality matters more than carpet cleaning.
Key facts
- On us.narwal.com as of October 2026, the Flow 2 with the basic dock was $1,099.99 in black and $1,299.99 in white, both against a regular price of $1,499.99. A version with an Auto Refill and Drainage System was $1,399.99.
- FlowWash uses a flattened rolling track mop that is refreshed with heated water as it cleans, and Narwal says it extends to walls and baseboards.
- 31,000 Pa suction. On carpet the roller brush cover lowers to boost suction and the mop lifts 10 mm (0.4 inches).
- Narwal lists 1.57 inch gap bridging, a 3.74 inch height, dual 1080P cameras and operation under 56.5 dB.
Trade-offs: Narwal's page lists different water temperatures in different places (see the note under the table). The plumbed dock option needs a wall hole for water supply and drainage within 15 cm of the floor and an outlet within 1.5 m, according to Narwal's product page. Narwal estimates about 280 minutes to vacuum then mop a 150 square meter room in its "sweep then mop" mode.
Roborock Saros Z70: best for cluttered floors
Who it's for: Homes where socks, slippers and tissues on the floor stop a robot from finishing the job.
Key facts
- $999.99 on us.roborock.com as of October 2026, against a listed price of $2,599.99.
- A foldable five-axis arm picks up items up to 300 g. Roborock says it can automatically pick up socks, small towels, crumpled tissues and slippers, and more items will come through updates.
- 22,000 Pa suction in a 7.98 cm (3.14 inch) body, which Roborock says was its thinnest robot as of January 2025.
- Hot water mop washing at 80°C (176°F) in the Multi-functional Dock 4.0, auto mop removal for carpets (turned on in the app) and auto dust emptying.
- Roborock estimates about 2 hours 15 minutes of vacuuming or mopping with the arm turned off.
Trade-offs: The arm adds cost and complexity you do not need on a tidy floor, and Roborock notes that a lot of hair can still tangle the main brush. For how it compares with Dreame's announced arm robot, see our Dreame Cyber10 Ultra page, and for more on this model see the Roborock Saros Z70 page.
iRobot Roomba Max 775 Combo + AutoWash Dock: best for Roomba households
Who it's for: People who already use the Roomba app or want iRobot's carpet-protecting roller cover.
Key facts
- $799.99 on irobot.com as of October 2026, down from $999.99. iRobot's page says the $200 offer ends October 17, 2026.
- PowerSpin roller mop spinning at 200 RPM, heated spot mopping for dried-on messes, and PerfectEdge to push the mop closer to walls.
- When it detects carpet, the roller lifts and a cover shields it.
- The AutoWash Dock empties debris for up to 3 months, washes the roller at 75°C, dries it at 50°C (122°F) and mixes iRobot's cleaning concentrate with water.
- Four modes: vacuum only, mop only, both at once, or vacuum first then mop.
- The robot is 4.1 inches tall.
Trade-offs: iRobot does not give a suction figure in pascals (it says "4X more power-lifting suction" than the Roomba Max 705 Combo), and at 4.1 inches it ties with the Deebot N30 Pro Omni as the tallest robot listed on this page.
Spinning pads, roller or track: which mop type?
- Spinning pads (Saros 20, Qrevo 2 Pro) press two round pads onto the floor. They are washed when the robot returns to the dock. Roborock's versions can detach completely so they never touch carpet.
- Rollers (Aqua10 Ultra Roller, Deebot T90S Pro Omni, Roomba Max 775 Combo) are rinsed with fresh water and scraped while the robot is still mopping, according to each maker, so the robot is not pushing dirty water around between dock visits.
- Track mops (Narwal Flow 2) work like a roller flattened into a belt, also refreshed with water as it cleans.
No maker publishes comparable mopping results, so treat claims about which design cleans better as unproven.
How to choose
- Measure under your furniture. Robot heights here range from 3.14 inches (Saros 20 and Saros Z70) to 4.1 inches (Roomba Max 775 Combo and Deebot N30 Pro Omni).
- Check your door sills. If you have raised thresholds, look at the Saros 20 (1.77 inch single), Aqua10 Ultra Roller (1.65 inch single) or Flow 2 (1.57 inch). The T90S Pro Omni lists 0.98 inches.
- Think about rugs. Every pick lifts, covers or removes the mop on carpet. Detaching mops (Saros 20, Qrevo 2 Pro) and covered rollers (Aqua10, T90S, Roomba) are the most protective designs on paper.
- Decide how much the dock should do. Hot-water washing and hot-air drying are listed on most picks here. The Qrevo 2 Pro page does not list either temperature.
- Set a budget and watch sale prices. Five of the eight picks were on sale on the day we checked, and the gap between sale and regular price was up to $1,600 (Saros Z70).
- Clutter. If the floor is rarely clear, the Saros Z70's arm is the only feature here that addresses it directly.
For other connected devices around the home, see our guide to the best smart home devices.
What we don't know
- Independent cleaning results. Suction figures, obstacle counts and threshold heights on this page are maker claims, and makers measure them in different ways.
- Narwal Flow 2 water temperature and mop lift. Narwal's page lists 140°F, 212°F and a 113 to 176°F range in different places, and gives mop lifting as both 0.4 inches (10 mm) and 12 mm. Its page also showed an "out of stock" note under each variant while the store's product data listed every variant as available.
- Heights and thresholds we could not find. Ecovacs did not list a robot height for the T90S Pro Omni, and Roborock did not list threshold heights for the Qrevo 2 Pro or Saros Z70 on the pages we checked.
- Roomba suction. iRobot gives a relative figure, not pascals.
- How long sale prices last. iRobot's page says its offer ends October 17, 2026, and Ecovacs's store lists the N30 Pro Omni promotion as running to October 19, 2026. Roborock, Dreame and Narwal did not state end dates on the pages we checked.
- Models we left out. The Eufy Omni S2 was not listed on eufy's US store when we checked, and the Mova V70 Ultra Complete was listed at $1,159 (regular $1,299) but marked unavailable on Mova's US store. We have pages for the Eufy Omni S2 and Mova V70 Ultra Complete if you find them elsewhere.

Frequently asked questions
What is the best robot vacuum and mop combo?
For most homes, the Roborock Saros 20 ($1,599.99 on Roborock's US store as of October 2026). It pairs 36,000 Pa suction with mops that detach on carpet, a 3.14 inch body and a dock that washes the mops with water up to 212°F. If you want a roller mop, the Dreame Aqua10 Ultra Roller was $899.99 on sale, and the Ecovacs Deebot N30 Pro Omni was $315 on sale (regular $699.99) for a budget model that still washes its mop with hot water.
Are robot vacuum and mop combos worth it?
They are worth it if you have hard floors that need regular mopping and you want the robot to look after itself. The models on this page all return to a dock that empties the bin and washes the mop, but they still need regular care: iRobot, for example, lists rinsing the dock's water tanks, cleaning the brushes and changing the filter every 3 to 6 months. If your home is almost all carpet, a vacuum-only robot does the main job for less.
Is a roller mop better than spinning mop pads?
Neither design has published, comparable mopping results, so there is no proven winner. The practical difference is when the mop gets cleaned: Dreame, Ecovacs, iRobot and Narwal say their rollers or track mops are rinsed with fresh water while the robot is still mopping, while spinning pads such as those on the Roborock Saros 20 and Qrevo 2 Pro are washed when the robot returns to the dock.
Will a robot vacuum and mop get my rugs wet?
Every model on this page has a way to keep a wet mop off carpet. Roborock's Saros 20 and Qrevo 2 Pro detach their mops. The Dreame Aqua10 Ultra Roller lifts its roller 0.55 inches and seals it, the Ecovacs Deebot T90S Pro Omni lifts its roller 0.59 inches behind a cover, the iRobot Roomba Max 775 Combo lifts and covers its roller, and the Narwal Flow 2 lifts its mop 0.4 inches.
What are the downsides of a robot vacuum and mop?
Price and space are the big ones: the models on this page cost from $315 to $1,599.99 at their October 2026 store prices, and their docks take up floor space. Robots can still be stopped by clutter, cables and high door sills, and the docks need regular attention (clean and dirty water tanks, dust bags, pads or rollers, filters). Many headline specs, such as suction in pascals, are maker claims measured in different ways.
How low can a robot vacuum and mop go under furniture?
Among the models compared here, the Roborock Saros 20 and Saros Z70 are the slimmest at 3.14 inches. The Narwal Flow 2 is 3.74 inches, the Roborock Qrevo 2 Pro 3.80 inches, the Dreame Aqua10 Ultra Roller 3.86 inches, and the Ecovacs Deebot N30 Pro Omni and iRobot Roomba Max 775 Combo about 4.1 inches. Measure the gap under your sofa and bed before you buy.
