Best Pet Camera in 2026: Treat Tossers, Pet Trackers and Budget Picks
By Ethan Halfhide · Updated
The best pet camera for most dog owners is the Furbo 360° Dog Camera: it rotates, tracks your dog, tosses treats and sends barking alerts, and furbo.com lists it at $54 with a Furbo Nanny plan. Want no subscription? The Petcube Bites 2 Lite ($99.99, a sale price on petcube.com) tosses treats without one, and the eufy Indoor Cam E30 ($69.99 on eufy.com) tracks pets with no monthly fee. Prices are as of October 2026. Below, eight cameras compared on treats, alerts, tracking and what each one costs to run.

The short answer

- Best treat camera with no required subscription: Petcube Bites 2 Lite. $99.99 (sale price), a 160° lens and a treat container that holds up to 1.5 lbs. Petcube Care is optional.
- Best for homes with several pets: Petlibro Scout Smart Camera. $79.99 (sale price). It recognizes up to five cats and dogs and labels their clips by name.
- Best compact pick: Furbo Mini 360°. 2K video, a rotating view and a small treat tosser for up to 10 treats. $35 with a Furbo Nanny plan; camera-only list price $99.

Read this before you buy a Furbo
Furbo sells its cameras two ways, and the difference matters more than any spec.
- Camera only. Furbo's product pages say the crossed-out price ($184 for the 360° Dog Camera, $99 for the Mini 360°) is the camera-only recommended list price without subscription. Furbo's help center calls this the Standalone model and says live view, talking to your pet, treat tossing and barking or meowing alerts work without ever buying a subscription.
- Subscribe & Save. The low headline price ($54 or $35) is for the camera bought with a Furbo Nanny plan. Furbo's help center calls this the Subscription Required model and says it requires a new Furbo Nanny subscription activation to function, even if you already have a plan on another camera.
Furbo says the camera is yours to keep on a Subscribe & Save plan, and that monthly plan users can cancel after 3 months. We could not confirm what a Subscribe & Save camera still does once its plan ends. Treat the low price as a camera plus a subscription, not as a discount on the camera.
Furbo 360° Dog Camera: best treat-tossing camera for dogs
Who it's for: Dog owners who want to toss treats, hear about barking and have the camera follow the dog, and who are fine with a subscription.
Key facts
- $54 on furbo.com with a Furbo Nanny plan as of October 2026. With the default Standard yearly plan, the page's checkout button showed $137.92. The camera-only list price is $184.
- 1080p FHD video, a rotating 360° view, color night vision and 4x digital zoom.
- Holds 100 treats. Furbo recommends treats about 0.4 inches (1 cm) across.
- Auto dog tracking, two-way audio and real-time barking alerts with adjustable sensitivity.
- Furbo's comparison chart lists Alexa compatibility. It comes with a 1-year warranty.
- Furbo Nanny adds video history, pet activity alerts, pet emergency alerts, home safety alerts and Nanny Chat, among others.
Trade-offs: Read the section above: the $54 version is tied to a plan, and plan prices are listed further down. Furbo lists 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi for it. Furbo also sells a Furbo 360° Cat Camera with a feather wand toy.
Petcube Bites 2 Lite: best treat camera with no required subscription
Who it's for: People who want to fling treats and talk to a pet without signing up for anything.
Key facts
- $99.99 on petcube.com as of October 2026, a sale price (list $149.99).
- 1080p HD video, a 160° wide-angle view, 8x digital zoom and automatic night vision.
- The treat container holds up to 1.5 lbs and is detachable and dishwasher safe. Petcube says to use crunchy treats of 1 inch or less, and you can control the amount and distance of each toss.
- Two-way audio, wall mounting kit in the box and a 1-year limited warranty.
- Petcube calls Petcube Care an optional subscription. Its free Basic tier includes live video streaming.
Trade-offs: The camera does not move, so the 160° lens has to cover the room. Video history, smart alerts and barking and meowing recognition are Petcube Care features. It needs 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, and it is a large unit: Petcube lists it at 5.7 x 3 x 10.6 inches. Petcube also offers the camera free with a Care subscription at $9.99 a month.
Petlibro Scout Smart Camera: best for homes with several pets
Who it's for: Households with two or more cats or dogs that want clips sorted by pet instead of one long motion feed.
Key facts
- $79.99 on petlibro.com as of October 2026, a sale price (list $99.99).
- Petlibro says Scout identifies up to five pets and labels their videos by name.
- 1080p HD video, color night vision, two-way audio, and 360° pan and tilt with auto pet tracking.
- A manual privacy cover slides over the lens.
- Connects to 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz Wi-Fi and has a 24-month warranty.
- With a Video Cloud AI plan it detects activities such as eating, drinking and litter box use (cats only).
Trade-offs: Scout uses cloud storage only, and SD cards are not supported, so saved video depends on a plan. Petlibro's comparison chart lists live video streaming and multi-pet recognition on the free plan, with activity tracking, smart summaries and highlight reels on paid plans. Petlibro says each camera needs its own subscription. It also says Scout cannot identify barking or meowing yet, may struggle to tell similar-looking pets apart, does not work with Alexa or Google Home, and does not detect people or packages. No treat tosser.
Furbo Mini 360°: best compact pick
Who it's for: Small apartments, cat owners, and people who want a Furbo that is easy to move.
Key facts
- $35 on furbo.com with a Furbo Nanny plan as of October 2026. The camera-only list price is $99.
- 2K QHD video with a 360° rotating view, a 126° wide-angle lens, color night vision and 8x digital zoom.
- A light treat tosser that holds up to 10 small treats. Furbo recommends dry, firm, round treats of 0.25 to 0.5 inches.
- Works for dogs or cats: you choose during setup in the app.
- Furbo says it is designed to fit in small spaces and packs up easily for trips with your pets.
Trade-offs: The same two ways of buying apply as with the bigger Furbo. Ten treats run out quickly next to the 100 in the Furbo 360° Dog Camera. There is no power adapter in the box; Furbo suggests using a 5.2-volt USB phone adapter. Furbo lists 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi for it.
Petcube Cam 360: best budget camera from a pet brand
Who it's for: Anyone who wants a simple pan and tilt camera to check on a pet and talk to it, from a company focused on pets.
Key facts
- $46.99 on petcube.com as of October 2026, a sale price (list $52.99).
- 1080p HD video with a 105° wide-angle view, 350° horizontal and 55° vertical rotation, and 8x digital zoom.
- Night vision up to 30 feet and two-way audio.
- A privacy mode blocks the lens view without unplugging the camera.
- Works with Amazon Alexa.
- Petcube says its cameras can be used out of the box and do not require a subscription.
Trade-offs: Petcube says that without Petcube Care you cannot store video or get smart alerts. It has no treat dispenser, and Petcube says it has no laser pointer. It connects over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi.
Enabot ROLA Mini Pet Monitor: best camera that moves around
Who it's for: Homes where the pet wanders from room to room and one fixed camera cannot see it.
Key facts
- $132.99 on store.enabot.com as of October 2026, a sale price (list $169.00).
- A 2K (2304 x 1296) camera with a 137° angle on a small wheeled body that you drive around the house from the app.
- Battery powered: a 5000 mAh battery, 3 to 4 hours to charge, and battery life that Enabot lists as up to 25 days.
- A 32 GB SD card is included, and it supports cards up to 256 GB.
- Two-way voice, motion detection recording, and 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi.
Trade-offs: Enabot says the ROLA Mini does not support auto-charge and has no charging dock, so you plug it in yourself. It has no patrol mode and no laser, and the cat teaser accessories are sold separately. Enabot lists an obstacle clearance height of 10 mm, so door sills taller than that may stop it. The product page does not mention barking alerts or any subscription.
eufy Indoor Cam E30: best ordinary camera for pets with no monthly fee
Who it's for: People who only want to watch, talk and get alerts, and would rather buy a memory card once than pay every month.
Key facts
- $69.99 on eufy.com as of October 2026.
- 4K UHD with a 125° diagonal view and 360° coverage.
- AI detection for motion, humans, pets, audio and crying, with AI tracking for humans and pets.

- Records 24/7 or on events to an SD card (sold separately). eufy says you can enjoy all functions without any subscription fees.
- Works with HomeKit, Alexa and Google Assistant.
Trade-offs: It cannot toss treats, and eufy's detection list does not name barking or meowing. The microSD card is not included, and eufy says it only supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. For how it compares with other general cameras, see our guide to the best indoor security cameras.
Wyze Cam Pan v3: cheapest pan and tilt pick
Who it's for: Tight budgets, and people who want one camera that can also go outside.
Key facts
- $44.98 on wyze.com as of October 2026.
- 1080p video with color night vision, 360° pan and 180° tilt, and automatic motion tracking.
- Privacy Mode points the lens straight down and turns the camera off.
- Records to a microSD card up to 256 GB. Two-way audio is built in.
- IP65 weather resistant. Outdoor use needs the Wyze Outdoor Power Adapter, sold separately.
- Works with Alexa, Google Assistant and IFTTT.
Trade-offs: Wyze says advanced notifications, such as hearing a barking pet, come with Cam Plus, which renews at $2.99 a month per camera. Wyze says 5 GHz Wi-Fi is not supported. No treat tosser.
When a normal indoor camera is enough
If all you want is to look in, say a few words and know when something moves, you do not need a camera sold for pets. The eufy and Wyze picks above are ordinary indoor cameras, and two more with pet features are listed on HomeGearLab:
- The eufy Indoor Cam S350 ($139.99 on eufy.com as of October 2026) adds 3x optical zoom, tracks humans and pets, and stores video locally with no monthly fee. eufy says it does not support HomeKit.
- The Aqara Camera Hub G350 ($139.99 on us.aqara.com as of October 2026) tracks people and pets and detects six sounds on the device, including a dog barking.
Buy a pet-specific camera when you want something these do not do: tossing treats (Furbo, Petcube Bites 2 Lite), telling your pets apart (Petlibro Scout), or driving to wherever the pet is (Enabot ROLA Mini).
If avoiding fees is the main goal, our guide to security cameras without a subscription covers more models that keep recording and alerts free.
What the subscriptions cost
Prices are each maker's published plan prices as of October 2026.
- Furbo Nanny. Standard: $9.99 a month, or $6.99 a month on the yearly plan for the first year (billed at $83.92), then $7.99 a month. It includes 3 days of video history. Premium: $12.49 a month, with 7 days. Monthly plans have a 3 month minimum. Furbo's help center says a plan covers one camera, with a $2 monthly fee for each additional camera.
- Petcube Care. Optimal: $9.99 a month, or $4.99 a month billed yearly ($59.88), with 3 days of video history. Premium: $16.99 a month, or $11.99 a month billed yearly ($143.88), with 90 days of history, unlimited cameras and an online vet chat. Every Petcube camera comes with a 14-day free trial.
- Petlibro Video Cloud AI. The yearly plans were sale prices on petlibro.com: Standard $95.99 a year (list $119.99) with 7 days of video history, Premium $135.99 a year (list $169.99) with 30 days, and Premium Family $159.99 a year (list $199.99) for up to 3 devices. Petlibro says monthly plans start at $9.99.
- Wyze Cam Plus. $2.99 a month per camera.
- eufy Indoor Cam E30. No plan needed. Budget for a microSD card.
- Enabot ROLA Mini. No plan is mentioned on the product page, and an SD card is included.
How to choose
- Decide whether you want treats. Of the eight cameras here, only the two Furbo models and the Petcube Bites 2 Lite toss them.
- Decide how you feel about a subscription. No plan at all: eufy Indoor Cam E30, or the Petcube cameras for live view only. Plan expected: the Subscribe & Save Furbo models. Plan needed for saved clips: Petcube, Petlibro and Furbo.
- Count your pets. With several animals, Petlibro Scout's per-pet labels save scrolling. With one dog, Furbo's dog tracking and barking alerts fit better.
- Think about where the pet spends the day. One room: a rotating camera in a corner. Whole home: the ROLA Mini can go looking, or put a cheap camera in each room.
- Check your Wi-Fi. Furbo and Petcube list 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, and eufy and Wyze say the E30 and Cam Pan v3 do not support 5 GHz. Petlibro Scout and the ROLA Mini list both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz.
- Cat or dog? The Furbo Mini 360° works for either, Furbo sells a separate cat camera with a feather wand, and Petlibro Scout recognizes both cats and dogs.
For cameras to cover the rest of the house, see our roundup of the best smart security cameras.
What we could not verify
- What a Subscribe & Save Furbo does after you cancel. Furbo's help center says the Subscription Required model needs a plan activated to function. We found no Furbo statement on which features remain once that plan ends.
- Whether the camera-only Furbo can be bought at its list price today. The product pages show the plan price first and describe $184 and $99 as camera-only recommended list prices.
- The Furbo camera price with other plans. The $54 and $35 prices are what Furbo's pages showed with the default Standard yearly plan selected. The pages say you save more with longer plans, and we could not confirm the camera price with a monthly plan.
- eufy Pet Camera D605. eufy's US product address for it now redirects to a blog post, so we found no official US price and left it out.
- ROLA Mini battery life in real use. Enabot lists up to 25 days without stating the conditions on the product page. The page also showed both buy and out-of-stock labels on the day we checked.
- Alexa support on the Petcube Bites 2 Lite. Petcube lists Alexa for the Cam 360; the Bites 2 Lite page does not list it in its specs.
- Treat jams, app reliability and video quality. These take long-term use to judge. This page compares published information only.
How this page was put together
HomeGearLab does not test products in a lab or at home. This page compares each maker's product pages, help articles, plan pages and US store prices, all checked on October 5, 2026. Picks are based on what each maker publishes about treats, alerts, tracking and subscriptions. Prices change often and several were sale prices that day, so confirm before you buy.

Frequently asked questions
What is the best pet camera?
For dog owners who want treat tossing, the Furbo 360° Dog Camera: it rotates, tracks the dog, holds 100 treats and sends barking alerts. furbo.com lists it at $54 with a Furbo Nanny plan as of October 2026, and the camera-only list price is $184. If you only want to watch and talk, the eufy Indoor Cam E30 ($69.99 on eufy.com as of October 2026) tracks pets and records to a memory card with no monthly fee.
Which pet camera is best without a subscription?
For treats, the Petcube Bites 2 Lite ($99.99 sale price on petcube.com as of October 2026): Petcube says its cameras do not require a subscription, though video history and smart alerts need Petcube Care. For watching and recording, the eufy Indoor Cam E30 ($69.99 on eufy.com as of October 2026): eufy says all functions work without subscription fees, and it records to an SD card sold separately.
What is the best pet camera with a treat dispenser?
It depends on capacity and fees. The Furbo 360° Dog Camera holds 100 treats and rotates, but its $54 price on furbo.com (as of October 2026) comes with a Furbo Nanny plan. The Petcube Bites 2 Lite holds up to 1.5 lbs of treats and needs no plan, but it does not rotate. The Furbo Mini 360° is the smallest and holds up to 10 small treats.
Do pet cameras need a subscription?
It varies. Petcube says its cameras work out of the box with no subscription, but storing video and smart alerts need Petcube Care. Petlibro Scout streams live for free, and saved video needs a Video Cloud AI plan. Furbo sells a camera-only version where Furbo Nanny is optional and a cheaper Subscribe & Save version that Furbo says needs a plan activated to function. The eufy Indoor Cam E30 records to a memory card with no plan.
Is it worth getting a pet camera?
It is worth it if you want something an ordinary camera does not do: tossing treats, alerts for barking or meowing, telling several pets apart, or a camera that drives to where the pet is. If you only want to look in and say a few words, an ordinary indoor camera with two-way audio does the job, often with no monthly fee.
Can I use a regular security camera as a pet camera?
Yes. Ordinary indoor cameras offer live view and two-way audio, and some add pet features. The eufy Indoor Cam E30 lists pet detection and pet tracking, the Aqara Camera Hub G350 lists pet tracking and dog barking detection, and the Wyze Cam Pan v3 pans and tilts for $44.98 on wyze.com as of October 2026. None of them toss treats.
What camera can I use to watch my pets without Wi-Fi?
None of the cameras on this page. Furbo lists 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi as a requirement, Petcube says its camera must be connected to the internet over Wi-Fi, and the other makers list Wi-Fi as the connection too. Petcube notes you can view its camera remotely over cell data, but the camera itself still needs Wi-Fi at home.
What is the best portable camera for pets?
Two picks suit moving around. Furbo says the Furbo Mini 360° is designed to fit in small spaces and packs up easily for trips with your pets, though it needs a power outlet and Wi-Fi where you set it up. The Enabot ROLA Mini is battery powered and drives around the house, and Enabot lists battery life of up to 25 days.
