About
An mmWave radar sensor that detects genuine human presence rather than motion, so lights stop switching off while you sit still. It maps a room into up to 30 configurable zones and tracks up to five people simultaneously, exposing each zone as a separate occupancy sensor to your smart home. It runs over Wi-Fi with no Aqara hub required, and includes an ambient light sensor for daylight-aware automations.
Pros
- +Detects stillness, not just motion — lights stay on while you read
- +Up to 30 zones and five simultaneously tracked people
- +No hub required — connects directly over Wi-Fi
- +Built-in light sensor for daylight-aware automations
Cons
- −Zone setup is genuinely fiddly the first time
- −Needs constant USB-C power
- −No native Matter support — HomeKit and Alexa only
