About
The SwitchBot Lock Ultra Vision Pro pairs with the Keypad Vision Pro to deliver two of the hardest-to-spoof biometrics in consumer hardware: 3D structured-light facial recognition and palm vein scanning. The infrared palm vein sensor reads the unique vein pattern under your skin from a few inches away, while facial recognition identifies you as you approach the door. Matter-over-Thread keeps commands local and response times tight, and full SwitchBot ecosystem integration enables cross-device automations.
Pros
- +Palm vein scanning is extremely difficult to spoof
- +3D structured-light facial recognition unlocks as you approach
- +Matter-over-Thread for fast local control
- +Integrates with full SwitchBot ecosystem
- +Works with all major voice platforms
Cons
- −Facial recognition needs adequate lighting
- −Combo price includes required Keypad Vision Pro accessory
- −Newer brand with less lock track record than August or Schlage
